Q: What is the minimum age stipulated for kids who can join in with your archery activities?
A: At the moment, we run programs for Scouts, Venturers and Rovers. We are aiming to involve all sections of Scouting (Joeys through to Rovers). We have a range of different strength bows, as well as child friendly nerf bows. We absolutely will be able to provide your scout group with a fun archery experience, no matter the age!
Q: Our Scouting section have requested archery for next term. What can you do for us?
A: We are thrilled you’re as keen for archery as we are! If you click on bookings, we have provided a list of dates our range is open. Fill in the form and secure your place on whichever date best suits you.
Q: What if the dates listed don’t fit in with our program?
A: Not to worry. All you need do is send us a request from the bookings page, with dates that best suit you, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Or you can check back to the page regularly as we will release new open dates with each term.
Q: What happens if it is raining on the day of our shoot?
A: Unfortunately, we will need to cancel your booking. We will let you know by 6.30pm on the day before the booking if we need to do this. We will give you first preference for the next term’s bookings. Check out the Facebook page or the news page for up-to-date information.
Q: When is the next training course for leaders going to be run?
A: At this stage the next archery training weekend will most likely be in October.
But if you’d like to get involved in our archery program before the course, we are looking for adult helpers! Feel free to contact us and we can discuss including you behind the scenes, and welcoming you to our friendly team!
Q: You guys look amazing, how do you achieve your good looks?
A: Well thank you for noticing… ;-P We keep active, shooting lots of bows can be a work out. We also love to stay youthful and appreciate the beauty around us. The gorgeous view from our range always takes our breath away, and keeps us young at heart!
